Abe Reid and the Spikedrivers stand alone as the unofficial  guardians of the traditional art of "blood and guts" musical  performance, serving to the masses a blend of Piedmont blues and raw rock 'n roll. Abe Reid, from Statesville, NC, growls out old tunes and  screaming hormonica with mastery, and now he unleashes authentic finger picking and soloing technique on the unsuspecting guitar enthusiast. Abe's characteristic Piedmont style inspires countless imitations and makes getting the blues enjoyable. He's an innovator, creating infectious melodies that deliver some of the most potent assaults on the English language since Allen Ginsberg howled his ass off.
